China Guangdong Nuclear Power Holding Co. (CGNPC) was established in 1994 to focus on nuclear as its core business, and is a part of China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group (CGNPG). CGNPG currently owns Guangdong Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station (GNPS) and Ling Ao Nuclear Power Station (LNPS) Phase I with nearly 4000 MWe of installed generating capacity. In addition, CGNPG also exercises equity ownership of around 1000 MWe of installed generating capacity of conventional power facilities such as pump storage and thermal power stations. Active progress has also been achieved in the development of clean energy such as wind power and hydropower.
France-China Electricity Partnership (P.F.C.E.) aims to promote sustainable involvement of French SMEs in the realization of China’s nuclear program, encouraging the establishment of units in China and the creation of partnerships between French and Chinese companies. The actual 85 P.F.C.E. members are qualified providers of Electricité de France (EDF), which currently operates 58 nuclear reactors PWR in France. P.F.C.E. regularly organizes missions to China and participates in exhibitions to meet electricians, contractors, operators, research institutes, government agencies and also Chinese companies interested in partnerships.
