State Nuclear Power Automation System Engineering Corp. (SNPAS) was established with investment from State Nuclear Power Technology Corporation Ltd (SNPTC) and Shanghai Automation Instrumentation Corporation Ltd (SAIC).
On November 30th, 2007, SNPTC and SAIC signed the cooperation agreement in the Great Hall of the People determining to establish a joint venture company. On March 27th, 2008, the Xu Hui branch of Shanghai Administration of Industry and Commerce granted the business license to SNPAS. On March 30th, 2008, SNPAS held an inauguration ceremony.
SNPAS has a registered capital of 200 million CNY, therein SNPTC contributes 51%, and SAIC contributes 49% of total capital respectively. The main business scope includes: NPP engineering I＆C system design, integration, installation and commissioning and other engineering technical service; NPP I＆C equipments complete supply; NPP I＆C equipments research and development; NPP I＆C system spare parts and operational technical support; System simulation, plant management system, weak current engineering and medium-low voltage electrical equipments and other nuclear power related business.
